Batting Cages
FUNZONE’s 6-station cage provides all forms of practicing opportunities, including slow pitch softball, fast pitch softball, very fast pitch softball, slow, medium, fast and very fast baseball. The cages are supported by eight state-of-the-art pitching machines. These machines are completely adjustable allowing for an infinite number of speeds and positions. Cages can be rented by the hour, or utilized through tokens.
Fielding Cage
FUNZONE’s fielding cage is unique to the state of Alabama as well. Located adjacent to the batting cages, this carpeted, enclosed area allows for a real life fielding and throwing experience. The pitching machine actually throws grounders to you and the cage provides targeting for a return throw. Due to the space available, a coach can enter the fielding cage with a player and provide hands-on instruction. The fielding cage is also a fun form of entertainment for those that are not playing team baseball or softball.
Tokens: $1 each
Rentals: $25 for ½ hour
Tokens are sold at the golf clubhouse and in the Air It Out building. Teams wanting to schedule a private session can call 735-0704 to reserve a time. |
